Madeira Mushrooms

For the tastiest sauteed mushrooms...

Total Prep / Cook Time (not including dough / sauce) : 15-30 minutes.
Level of Difficulty: Intermediate.

Ingredients:
1 Cup Sliced White Mushrooms
Madeira Wine
Butter
Kosher Salt
Ground Black Pepper

Directions:

Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a medium frying pan at medium-high heat.

When melted, pour in mushrooms with a small amount of salt and pepper.

When mushrooms begin to release natural juices (at about 4-6 minutes) pour in 1/8 cup Madeira wine.

When mushrooms have absobed majority of wine (about 2 more minutes), remove from heat, let cool.
